Weekend Recap
Friday night, we were privileged to host a going away party for our dear friends, Katie and Tyler, at our house. I've known Katie since our freshman year in college and we've basically been in the same town since then until next weekend! I love a good party, but it is definitely bittersweet! Katie and Tyler are moving to Nashville for Tyler's job and they will be sorely missed! So we all got together to eat some burgers (thanks, Kate-they were awesome) and play some games! Oh, how I love a great game night! We always learn so many new things!
Then, on Saturday morning, Patrick and I got up, dropped Wrigley off for the first time since we've gotten him to be cared for by someone else, and drove up to the mountains in north Georgia to celebrate the marriage of our good friends, Stephen and Erin! Now I will admit that I am very much a beach girl and not a mountain girl, but wow, the views are spectacular! We stayed at the Brasstown Valley Resort and I would highly recommend it! We hope to go back and actually partake in some horseback riding, golf, and spa treats soon! The ceremony was very sweet and we had great seats right with Stephen's family. We drank Arnold Palmer's at the cocktail hour and were driven by golf carts down to the open air pavilion where we enjoyed great amounts of food overlooking the beautiful golf course and listened to music by the Mr. Potato Head band. Now Pat and I must be an old married couple because we turned in around midnight after the band stopped playing while a good group of the wedding guests joined the bride and groom at the bar of the resort! Whew! I was really glad that the check out time for the resort was at noon, so we could enjoy breakfast in bed at 10:30 the next morning.
On our way back, we stopped at the outlets and I was pretty impressed by all of the stores they had! We intend to go back and hopefully pick up a rug from the Pottery Barn outlet for our bedroom. We picked up the Wrigster from my aunt's house and he wouldn't let me out of his sight for the rest of the afternoon. Patrick couldn't even take him outside because he wouldn't leave me behind! Silly pup! All in all, we had a fantastic weekend celebrating with our friends!

Anthropologie Buys
After I finally decided to go to Anthropologie (it was way too busy for me on Saturday) yesterday, I was able to try on most of the dresses I had picked out online. I absolutely loved the blue/orange dress; however, I am NOT a size 2 and the store didn't have my size!! I really decided that I wanted to buy the blue one, but today, I went back and bought the orange one. And of course, I LOVE it!! Now I am trying to figure out which shoes will go with it. Hmm. Any suggestions?
I also ended up buying this shirt that was on sale and also this skirt in a dark turquoise color.
I am trying to figure out which shirts I can pair with the skirt since it is so full; it needs a tight shirt and I want something more than just a plain white tee. But for now, that will probably be what I go with and maybe throw on a big necklace to jazz it up!

We've got a talker!
When Patrick and I first got Wrigley, I tried and tried to get him to talk. I would roll my r's and ask him to talk to us and he would just give me quizzical looks like, "Mom, you are so crazy" and "I have no idea what the heck you really want me to do".
However, I am determined to get my pup to speak! It probably stems from the fact that my parents' first Pembroke Welsh Corgi, Tinker, would always talk to us when we would roll our r's to her. I've still been working with Wrigley and he is slowly coming around. My mom was in town a few weekends ago and she brought out the talker!! Wrigley would not keep his mouth quiet while she was here. Mom would walk into the spare bedroom and Wrigley would run after her, all the while, making whiny little noises at her. He was cracking us all up the entire weekend! And I had no idea where this talker came from!
A few days ago, while I was trying to do my P90X yoga, Wrigley decided he needed some attention. Now, pardon the poor video skills, but I did have a Wrigster trying to climb all over me. Wrigley has found his voice and now starts barking randomly. ACK! While I like the talking, I don't really like the barking. Without further ado, here's the quick video.

Happy Father's Day!
I could get all sentimental about my daddy on this special day honoring my dad, but I will try to stay on course. My dad has always provided for me and my family and I will treasure him for as long as I live. I found these shoes online the other courtesy of Sea of Shoes (http://seaofshoes.typepad.com/sea_of_shoes/) and could not believe them when I saw them! I immediately had to send them via e-mail to my dad since he just so happens to be a spine surgeon. Despite the price tag, I'm wondering, Dad, do you want to surprise me with these uniquely awesome shoes? I know you do! (sorry that I can't figure out how to import the picture by itself on here-argh, the trials and tribulations of blogging!)

Just for kicks, I've got to include a picture of my awesome daddy, aka Big Bob! I love you and wish I could celebrate this father's day with you!

And just for kicks, one of both my favorite boys!
Also, I cannot forget to give a shout out to my favorite father-in-law! I'm so glad to have married into such a wonderful family! Happy father's day!!

Anthropologie
Since my sweet pup woke me up this morning and I haven't yet forced myself to go for a run (yes, I've finally decided to force myself to exercise), I started browsing Anthropologie's website. I absolutely love all of their clothes, even though I wish I had more money available to spend in there. One of my friends just told me she is working part-time now for another store in the mall, and I cannot believe the percentage she gets off their clothes!! I told Patrick that I might seriously have to consider working part-time at a store just to reap those benefits! I just might look into it.
Anyways, back to the beautiful dresses I'm eyeing over at Anthro:
First off, I adore (!!!) this dress in blue though I love it in "red" too. But being an Auburn girl, how perfect is this for a game? I might just have to convince Patrick that this is the one if it fits!!

Next, I like this one in either the pink or the green. It seems like a good go-to dress for the summer.
I think the detailing on this dress is beautiful, though I'm just not sure how the color would suit me being as I am so pale. But I still would like to try it on just for kicks.
This dress appeals to my first degree in Marine Biology with the beautiful watercolor mural at the bottom.
And last, but certainly not least, I really enjoy the look of this dress. I love the bottom and think the ruffles on the bodice are very cute! Might it work? I hope to try it!
Oh, how I just love Anthropologie!! I wonder if I run today, can I be rewarded for my efforts?

Whew, what a day!
Even though we didn't have too many patients on our hall today, I still was running like a crazy lady! The Wrigster and I are watching some trashy recorded shows tonight and putting our feet up! Ah, the ultimate relaxation after a busy day!

Birthed!
Happy birthday to me! I just had to have these seahorse sandals that
Kimberly had on last night! And since I'm the birthday girl, Patrick
humored me and let me buy them! I know, he rocks!
